Delve does not currently provide a direct project import from NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or MAXQDA.
If you are moving an existing qualitative analysis project to Delve, you will need to export the relevant data from your existing software and recreate the project structure in Delve.
Move your Transcripts to Delve
Export your transcripts from your existing software in a format supported by Delve, such as:
TXT
DOCX
PDF
Take a look at our Transcript Formatting Tips article and update your transcripts as necessary to follow best practices. Then import the transcripts into your Delve project using Add a Transcript.
Recreate your Codebook
Create your codes in Delve based on the codebook from your existing project. This is a manual process as there is currently no way to import a codebook into Delve.
See Add a Code and Understanding Codes for information about creating and organizing codes.
Recode your Transcripts
After importing your transcripts and creating your codes, code your data in Delve.
See Code Your Text for instructions on applying codes to transcript text.
FAQs
Q: What happens to existing coding?
A: Your existing NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or MAXQDA coding does not automatically transfer into Delve. You will need to recreate the coding in your Delve project.
This approach allows you to preserve your source transcripts while rebuilding the analysis using Delve's workflow.
