Overview
You can switch between monthly and annual billing for your Delve subscription at any time in your account settings.
Monthly billing offers flexibility and can be canceled anytime. Your bill date is based on your sign up date. So, if you started your monthly subscription on April 15th you’ll be billed again May 15th automatically unless you cancel or pause your subscription.
Annual billing offers a discounted rate and requires one upfront payment. So if you sign up on January 2, 2027 you’ll be billed again January 2, 2028 automatically unless you cancel or pause your subscription.
For a full breakdown of pricing and plan options, see the article Understanding Delve Subscriptions and Pricing.
Note: Plan changes take effect immediately. The exact billing impact depends on the direction of the switch — see the FAQ below.

FAQs
Q: When does the subscription change take effect?
A: Immediately. Your new plan starts the moment you confirm the switch, and your billing cycle resets from that date.
Q: Will I be charged immediately when I switch plans?
A: What happens with your charge depends on the plan you are starting with and what you are switching to:
Switching from monthly to annual: You’ll be charged immediately for the full year, minus a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current monthly subscription. Your annual cycle starts on the switch date.
Switching from annual to monthly: Your plan switches to monthly immediately. We’ll credit your account for the unused portion of your annual subscription, and that credit is applied to your upcoming monthly invoices until it’s used up. Once the credit runs out, your card will be charged the monthly rate going forward.
Q: Which option is more cost-effective?
A: Annual billing offers a discounted rate compared to monthly billing. For details, see Understanding Delve Subscriptions and Pricing.
Q: Can I have team members on a different billing cycle? For example, I have an annual billing cycle but I want a team member to be on a monthly billing cycle.
A: No, team members that are added to your account will be on the same subscription as you. A work around is to have the user maintain their own subscription with whatever payment method works for your project. Users do not need to be on your team (which adds them to your billing) to work with you on a project, you can share projects outside of direct team members. See Sharing Projects for more information.
