Overview
You can save a direct link to a specific location in a transcript by using a coded snippet.
This is useful when you want to:
Return to an important moment in the transcript later
Share a specific transcript location with yourself or collaborators
Create a reusable reference point in your analysis
How Transcript Links Work
Delve creates transcript-specific links through snippets.
To generate a link to a particular place in a transcript, that section must first exist as a coded snippet.
If you do not want to use a “real” code that makes sense for the passage you want to link, you can create a placeholder code such as:
Saved SnippetReference PointImportant Quotes
This can make it easier to collect transcript locations without affecting your main codebook structure.
Save a Link to a Specific Transcript Location
Apply a code to the line or section you want to link to.
Open the appropriate Code Details page.
Find the snippet and click the blue link that opens that snippet in the transcript.
From there, copy and save the URL from your browser
That URL will take you back to that specific location in the transcript.
