The Descriptors as CSV report exports a summary of the demographic information used throughout your project.
Rather than listing individual participants, this report summarizes how many transcripts are associated with each option for every descriptor. This provides a quick overview of your study population and can be useful for reporting, documentation, or further analysis.
Export Descriptors as CSV
To generate the report click Reports in the left-hand menu.
Select Descriptors as CSV and click Export Descriptors as CSV.
The CSV downloads immediately.
What's Included in the Export
The exported CSV contains three columns:
Descriptor — the name of the demographic field (for example, Role or Institution)
Option — one of the available values for that descriptor
Number of Transcripts — how many transcripts are assigned that value
Each descriptor is grouped together within the report.
Understanding "No Selection"
Every demographic descriptor includes a No Selection row.
This row counts the number of transcripts where no option has been chosen for that descriptor.
